The NSG Group released a news release about the successful development of a new ultra-thin SELFOC® Micro Lens (SML) with diameter of 125 μm (0.125 mm), which is the thinnest in SML product. (Click here for news release articles → Our release material)

The Group believes this lens with the same diameter as optical fiber can help the devices in which the lens is installed to be made much smaller, lighter, simpler and then less costly.

With the new ultra-thin SELFOC® Micro Lens, the Group plans to promote marketing activities in the optical telecommunication field and the imaging devices field, preparing for full-scale production of this product in near future.
